Console buttons illuminate when the machine is powered on. Use the blue System On button to power up from a powered-down state.
The machine is generally meant to stay powered on. To connect or disconnect service, turn the red knob on the electrical panel.
When power must be shut down for servicing, follow all local LOTO policies:
- At the HMI, verify the system has been cycle-stopped and is in Manual mode.
- Press one of the e-stop buttons to de-energize control power.
- Locate the disconnect on the control panel for lockout.
- Move the disconnect handle to the off position.
- Apply lockout / tagout devices.
